The "X" logo is reportedly part of a larger effort to turn Twitter into an "anything app" based on China's WeChat, allowing users to do everything from payments to hotel reservations. After Twitter changed its logo, the microblogging site was flooded with memes. In a popular meme, Bluebird says he was "fired" by Musk, alluding to Twitter's controversial mass layoffs. The brand has benefited from his marketing of Moments through memes.
